I was quoted £200 from Renault Nottingham, but got it for £160 from Renault Lincoln - so shop around....

Main dealers always charge loads, def worth shopping around, your book doesnt need to be stamped by a renault main dealer if you went to a specialist im sure that would be just as good.

Nissan tried to charge my mum 300 quid to fit 2 cv boots on her almera, we went and got the parts for 40 quid and paid a private garage 60 quid to fit them, i really dont know how main dealers get away with it.

right booked in at colchester lookers as i dont need an air filter they quoted me £160 and if i supply my own oil it will be about £100



they charge £7a litre plus vat! and i need 5!



Any one reccomend the best oil to buy for it?

I bought Elf oil over the counter in the parts department at the Renault dealer where I get mine serviced...

From the parts department its less than £15 incl. VAT for 5 litres

If the service guys supply it when they change the oil... its about £35 + VAT on the service invoice!!!

Try the parts counter, you might get lucky...
