0-60.... (172)

  BMW F21 125d
Just had a go at trying to get a good 0-60 time out of my 172, but my start was seriously slowed down by the damn traction control, turning it off just generates lots of smoke...
What is the ideal rev's to hold at before dropping the clutch and going for it ? I had a couple of go's with my mate on the stopwatch and we had some decent results, but i know my start let me down!

3226.2354784125652 RPM if my memory serves me correct, anything higher or lower will cause an extra 4-5 seconds on your time...

There is no universal answer, it depends on few things, what tyres do you have, on what type of surface you are starting, and also it depends on setup of your suspension.
For example, with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres, suspension setup with negative camber(-2), normal tyre preassure I can start with around 3200 rpm
But with Toyo R888, normal camber setup, different tyre preassure the limit goes to 5000 RPM.
