0-60 in 1.2

oi, i timed my 0-60 time 2dy and it dun it in 9.277 secs!! its only got an induction kit! i had my mate in the car (timin it) and i got a sub in the boot. Dont get it!

must have been an ilncine/human error ect - as dont the 1.6 do it in that, if that is so - you must be adding almost the difference in BHP between the 1.2 and 1.6 - have you got any stickers on the car - eg -max power, sony, ect -as the better brands can add upto 10bhp each ive heard!!

mine as things stand was (is) the quickest 1.2 16v in the club (proven)

the 0-60 is somewhere in the region of the low 11s

Never mind same as mine its faster then mine. Wish id got the 1.2 and induction kit. Hope youve declared it to your insurance as adding 35bhp+ almost doubling your your current bhp will put that premium up

9 seconds odd does seem awfully quick for a 1.2 with only an induction kit...

Ive got a 1.2 16v as well, pipercross induction kit, new exhaust, cold air feed from where the grille used to be via a pipercross airforce and the front grille removed for maximum cold air...

and i the fatest I have done it it 11.3 secs, on a flat road, im not boasting that is fast at all, but dont know how to get it down without spending loads or taking a big hill

p.s. I have no Max Power Stickers... although i do have an XS motorsport sticker ( my local modding shop ) a strathycruise.com sticker and a strathyclyde autotint one from where i got my windows done, maybe thats doubled the power at the wheels

ebee - how did you time your 0-60??? if its a stopwatch, ignore it, human error accounts for at least 0.45 of a second at the start and at the finish, which is why i got camcorder footage of my run

im not doubting you, but i know that it takes a big effort to get the time to anywhere near the low 11s

My mate has one - he thinks it one of the slowest things hes driven.

No offence to any one with one, theyre just not made for that kinda thing - hence group 3 insurance.

Ive never done a 0-60 time in mine but ive been on the M40 at a continuous downhill stretch for about 10 miles and it wouldnt use the last 300rpm..nudged over 115mph..i must have an accurate clock if peeps are getting 127mph!
