mate, i have had a jetex panel filter in mine since it was about 2 months old. I also have a revised air-feed to it. The filter is TINY and cost about £35. i am now running the standard air filter and standard air feed as the car is due for its service, and its slow as sh*te with the standard kit, throttle response is crap (have to put the pedal down further) If you want to keep it simple, and away from engine heat, id go for it! after all, its what i am running!
like i say, i have the standard air filter in at moment with standard feed and its sh*te! so a panel filter does make a difference, especially on the motorway when u have loads of air going through the uprated feed pipe!
ive thought long n hard about an induction kit, but, from what most people say, and the way the car is, they aint really all that loud, and the thought of all that hot air puts me off, hence why i am still ruinning my panel filter. as for going 60mm instead of 40mm............hmmmmmm lol
