1.2 16v possible head gasket failure?

I keep getting white gunk in the oil filler cap and can see it all down the wall around it, but it seems to disappear after a long journey and the water temp gauge is normal. If this definitely a head gasket failure or could it be something else?

Its a common issue with the 1.2 16v engine its been discussed load on here.

Its just need a good run to get rid of it.

condensation in the engine caused from short journeys.nothing to worry about. like edde said,just take it on a good run.
