1.2 8v sump replacement

Basically It has a crack or hole or just rusted so needs replaced, I have not had a chance to look at it myself but how hard is this? Is the subframe in the way? Its a mk2 ph2 1.2 8v

From memory you can easily remove it without getting the subframe off. The 1.2s dont have sump guards, assuming you hit something in the road??

No its a friends, I havnt seen the car yet. I wasn\'t aware any clio\'s had sump guards? Just for rally cars that caper or are you reffering to the plastic covers?
