1*2 alloy pedals

alright folks. how are the pedals in 1*2s' held in place. i spotted a 182 down at my local scrapy with the pedals still inside, but i didnt bother too look at how they were attached as i didnt have any tools with me.

They are actually alloy pedal covers and they are riveted on to the pedals underneath .Afaik you'll be ok with the brake and clutch pedal cover but on your car you have a plastic accelerator pedal under your rubber .

so they are just like the rubber bits on non-rs models...but alloy obviously. how do i get them off?

Get a cordless drill and a 3 or 4mm drill bit and drill out the centre of the rivet , then pull the alloy pedal cover off , but watch you dont bend it cos they are only thin .If it feels like its glued on it'll be all the s**t underneath sticking it down . Give it a good yank .
