1.2 Cambelt Quote

I only have a 1.2 Clio, its just clocked over 63k on a 54 plate, and I am now on the prowl for the water pump / cambelt change.

I have been speaking about this at work and my colleague said that they would get a quote as their close friend works for a parts company,

£92 for Pump & Cambelt. is this good??

also I can get it fitted by a fully qualified mechanic who has his own garage, charging family rates as i know his sister!

its going to cost around £160 in total to get it all ordered, delivered and fitted. Am i being fobbed off or good deal?


i know the 172/182's cost upwards of £500 to fit, but they are the big boy cars haha plus i could get 2-3 engines for the price of that haha :rasp:

Got mine done for £175 all in

£100 on belt kit, water pump and AUX belt

£75 fitted
