1.2 TCE - AFM?!?

Does anyone know, whether the 1.2TCE engine has an AFM before the turbo?

I'd presume it does, but want to double check.

Haha great minds, erm i'm assuming it'll be map like the 225 (afaik?) but i'm not 100%. Having a look for a MAF/AFM would be the best bet.

Pressure sensor in the air pipe style?

Will have to have a look when it arrives.

I've heard it runs ~8psi anyway so I'd imagine barely worth it.

Usually in the manifold afaik as it needs to be post throttle body I think. Although not 100% with turbo engines.
It could be using MAF though so check for both.

i no that forge make a dump valve called a splitter and its designed for the 1.2 tce lump but from the looks of it its jut the same as a duel port. im pritty sure any type of dump valve will work as u can remove the pipe that reciculates the air back into the intake and the engine still runs fine and doesn't spit or back fire or have any problems. i havent seen or heard of any one with the splitter dump valve on a tce yet but if any one has got one fitted let me no as im intrested in it.. but if in doubt un plug the pipe and start it up. if it dont work then its got the dump valve after the maf. if it works its before. lol have fun

Someone on Renaultsport forum has fitted a dump valve and it works fine. He got it for a tenner of ebay.

I've seen the Forge split-r dump valve, people with VAG engines use it too, but I want to be able to use a normal twin piston dump valve. Have one at home so will try it at the weekend.
