1.2 Xenons

This might seem a stupid question to a lot of you but im only after some info

I want to fit xenons to my 2005 clio. I have heard many different thing regarding the laws. I have found out that HID's need to have a projector headlights and washers so they are out of the question, but what is involved with xenons (what's do i need to get and what need to be done)

Cheers

A question I'd been wondering about but I've found my 1.2 lights to be really really good, non xenons

Just some Osram Nightbreakers, it's getting a bit annoying as people keep flashing me even though I checked the lights on the works beam tester and were fine.
i have the same and get flashed weekly but its not the brightness i want its more the color want to eliminate the yellow "tinge"

I'll get an image tomorrow night but it seems to be whiter rather than yellow.

What do you need mate? Straight swap to fit them, just make sure you pick them up if you buy some, 99% of the time they break in transit!

If you want to go from standard headlights to sport xenons. Nothing is needed except from the acutal units, the connectors are exactly the same so it is literally unplug your old standard lights and fit your xenons, Done. But as Loz H says, if you buy a set dont get them delivered as are almsot guaranteed to break intransit, find a set local and pick them up :)

HIDs= Xenons.

@Darius I hope that's not a HID kit in reflectors.

I wouldn't recommend Nightbreakers for changing the colour of the light - they're still pretty yellow, although they are the most powerful bulbs you'll find. You'll want Phillips Bluevision to get rid of the yellow tinge.

@McGherkin that's exactly what they are
Well done for promoting something that blinds all other road users.
For everyone reading this thread, please don't put HID's in reflector headlamps. Not only does it dazzle everyone around you, but it makes you look like a pure cheapskate c**k.

They just never look OEM. That's the main issue for me. There is just something about them that doesn't look right.
