The best thing about 172/182s is cold days, it will beat any other car to warm its blowers up first. However on the 172mk1s the metal gearknob gives your hand frostbite...

im a tech for volvo there heaters get warm quick as in 15 seconds on the new ones spose it is cold in sweden though.


my car holds back when cold just cruiseing along but not to worried is fine when warm dont need the power when stone cold

If you think the 172 heaters are quick their nothing compared to a 22 year old Ford Escort's.

If there was such thing as a heater drag race the Escort would be over the finish line before you'd even start the engine of a Clio, honestly !! Their amazing lol
