1.4rt Clio Mark 1

hello, just having an arugument with my mate as too how fast a clio 1.4rt would go 0-60 and top speed, he thinks it would struggle to do 95 so can anyway that owns one tell me there estimates?

top speed can go up to about 110 definately more than 95 cos ive had a tonne out of mine

I had 110mph outta mine but the engine went pop the day after, was told that when a car goes faster than usual its a sign somethings ready to go.

Before that it used to just get past 100mph sometimes 105mph.

It was pretty quick up to about 30-40mph but then other things would leave it so reckon 11ish secs is right.

Wouldnt drive it again it I was you!

I still got the burnt out engine in my garage 2 years after it went, mean to take it appart to find out what went wrong but the effort is just too much!

recently had 110 out of mine and it was still pulling, backed off cos i thought i would get done. little mods like decat, induction (obviously with decent feeds) and exhaust help it a fair bit with top end.

Nuffin much jus a K&N with a vent straight above it and a side exit exhaust system
