1.6 16V top speeds

What have you had out of yours? Im getting one soon after going through 2 Clios in a year trying to find right one for me!

book figure is 110mph, should think this is accurate on flat with timing gear. indicated prob around 120 - 125 mph.

Clocked 125mph along the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Have had a couple of engine things done but shouldnt have affected the top speed much so reckon thats pretty accurate.

weve had an indicated 125 out of our Megane 1.6 16v

Iv had 120 on the clock out of my 1.4 16v all I got is an air filter!!

Gonna try it going down a hill nxt!

i have had 125 on a motorway with 4 up with standard 15"s and lowered 60mm. and mine is only a 1.2 16v with superchip exhaust and filter.

Raced a clio 1.4 16v and i was all over him with 17"s and 3 up the lad wasnt pleased
