1.6 lowering help please

im goin to lower my 1.6 2002 but it needs to know the distance between the shock bolts its either 54 or 58 mm are all 1.6 all the smae has any one got this measurement ?

Almost definetly 58mm. Can measure to be sure.

58mm for definate unless its been bodge after a crash.

It wouldn't be 54mm as thats the 172 only ones.

Apex 40mm kit, looks good, handles well enough for me. Its not for everyone though as the ride is rather firm to say the least, doesn't bother me but if you like limo rides then you'll hate it.

Looks lower in the metal than I can get to show in pics.

could try 35mm springs from ktec - got them on my 1.6 dynamique and they do the job perfectly

i was thinking apex then read a thread about the springs sagging then i saw gmax and i had gmax before and it was nice ride wasnt harsh and it handle fine thankx for the advice
