1.6 what to pay

Sister is buying a 1.6 tomorrow, has anyone got an idea of what she should pay for the standard model.

I want to have some idea so I can negotiate a better deal.

Is she looking for a new one?

If so then best try and get a price very close (within a few hundered) of drive the deal company prices).

Try a few dealerships play one of against another some may have done on this month others not as well so more willing to del on the price.

For a dynamic she should be looking at about £8.9k. The dynamic is the bottom of the 1.6 range.

For a dynamic with A/C about £9.3k

A 1.4 would be cheaper 10hp less but cheaper insurance

The bottom of the range 1.4 should be about £8k The dynamic 1.4 about £8.5k

There usually free insurance offers on so this can lower the amount they will come down in price.

How about a 1.2 dynamic for £8.2k? or a diesel dynamic for £8.8K

i got my 1.6 16v a/c dynamique for £8856.53! pretty chuffed with that (had to wait a long time) but it was from a normal renault dealer

HOWEVER that was a mistake on their part cos the price they sold it for was a mistake printed in their price guide! OOPS by them but good lads for keeping to the price they quoted

Add up the price of the car plus options, and aim to get about 20% off that price, if youre around 15-20% discount you can say you got a good deal!!

been looking at these today - motorpoint have 04 reg 1.6 dynamiques with a/c for £8995

i got mine form motorpoint, no problems apart form rattles (well it is french)

took about 10 minutes to buy the car, no messing about at all in these places.

i got mine from trade-sales.co.uk for 8.5k i think if you choose black you pay more, but mine has ac but no sunroof.

paid 8.4k for mine with a/c and sat nav, from a main dealer with staff discount.
