you have to machine the inlet manifold out to 60mm and it does just bolt on, just about.
Finding one is hard and it wont run well striaght off, youll need to get it all sorted.
MPG, done tell me you want more power and the same MPG............
Gain, on a std engine....not sure, but if you get somebody (like me) to gaslfow your head at the same time then your looking at about 100bhp.
Up to 100 horses from just the TB flowing etc!?
How screwed with the MPG be say it does 40 average....?

Well. Would it be fuked from 40 down to 20 kinda thing! or just a small loss...
At Hill Power we have done this conversion to the 1.4 rt before. You will find that with the 1.8 Laguna throttle body power will be gained only above 4800 rpm and the will peak in 5th gear at about 5250 rpm To benifit best from the throttle body a reground fast road cam will help greatly There are gains to be made from porting the head as well again these help with achieving better high rpm power. Which ever way you decide to go we can supply a custom mapped chip to suit.
So who of you two can quote a 1.4 owner happiest for the 1.8 TB, fast road cam and head porting
