10 Month Insurance?

My girlfriends insurance is up for renewell and she keeps getting quotes for £x amount of money with a deposit then 10 monthly payments of £x amount.

Does this mean the policy expiers after 10months?

nope, weirdly a lot of insurance companies will now make the monthly payments over 10 months rather than 12 but it will still be 12 months cover mate. ina way gives you some time to save at the end for ur next deposit lol

crazy, it confused me slightly how it works, but ive been told to be careful in the past because some companies do only offer 10month policies, Admiral call it a bonus accelerator.

now the only problem is Churchill quoted her £728 a year.
but another company quoted £610 a year but with a stupid £650 excess, so it works out worse in a worse case scenario.
