1024*... Instead of 800*640 - Firefox Help

Trying to use the internet now on my old PC because my laptop is being a bel end!

Basically i can set it up so that i have it as 800*640 on my desktop background but then when i try to use the interet on firefox or Ie it means that i have to scroll acrosss the screen

if i change the settings on the main background then its fine but the writing is tiny and the monitor is s**t and its too hard to read the writing being displayed!!

Any suggestions?

Maybe just to change the settings on Firefox but i cant see it in the Options!

on firefox try pressing CTRL & - to make the font smaller or CTRL & + to make it bigger

Its made it so that i can read a whole reply without having to slide across!

Still all massive in general, its bearable tho!

probably want to change the resolution to 1024x768... then make the text bigger in FF. that should work out?!
