10mm hub-centric spacers?

  UR R26R.5, VW Golf R
I have 15mm all round at the moment but the rear tyres are catching slightly on the arch lip. Shame, as they've only been on for about 10 miles. So I'm looking for some 10mm hub centric spacers instead. Can't seem to find any on eBay but I presume they're readily available? The H&R's on Venom Motorsport are 10mm but I'm insure if they're hub centric and the lines are constantly engaged or no answer.

I think you might struggle at 10mm as that would barely clear the standard spigot.

You could easily turn 5mm off the back of yours though and then grind 5mm off the spigot, they would be ideal then.

It says this:

All H&R alloy wheel spacers fit onto the hub and use either your standard wheel bolts or new longer aftermarket wheel bolts (purchased separately) See the Venom Wheel bolt section. Most of the time any size up to 5mm width per axle will mean you can use the factory bolts, any larger than 5mm per axle and you will need to buy longer bolts.

When you purchase a spacer 10mm (per axle) or larger they will be machined with a hub locator. This ensures the weight of the car rests on the axle and not just on the wheel bolts and is known as a hub centric spacer. Spacers up to 10mm in width are usually supplied as a flat spacer. (Check spacer notes before ordering). Spacers over 10mm are usually supplied with a hub-locating ring (check spacer notes before ordering)

Sounds promising then.

You could always team up with someone else to order 4, and then have 2*10mm rear and 2*15mm front each :)

I'll give them a ring in the morning. The 15mm spacers I have will be going up for sale.

When i ordered mine from Venom they said 13mm, sorry to split hairs.....lol

ive had the 13mm fk spacers from venom, they dont work unless you grind your hub flange down because there isnt enough depth to the spacer, i.e it wont sit flush.

I have 8mm spacers which are "hubcentric" in a sence they are 60.1mm bore, just using longer bolts. Not alot for the wheel to sit on but it manages fine. 10mm may be to much.

Littlegh, Yeah I have also had to grind the spigot down on the flange when trying to run smaller hubcentric spacers, Im not going to be at all surprised if when he gets his new spacers through they dont actually fit as I dont really see how they can when the spigot sticks out by the whole depth of the spacer.

No big deal to just grind it down a bit though of course, so not the end of the world.

As I said originally then, get yours skimmed 5mm and shorten the hub spigots slightly with a grinder, job jobbed.
