Has anyone used the guys to buy a domain, and also to host from. Only real grumble is that its run by pipex, and what i've heard of them as an ISP is not good....

Yep I use them to buy domains, but I don't use their hosting. Apparently there are *issues* with their hosting at the moment as people keep contacting me about them as I have a testimonial on their site singing their praises.

I still use them for domains - just get hosting elsewhere.

Can i ask where you get your hosting?

Not new to webdesign, but only been doing it for college assignments, so never had any experiences with buying domains and hosting.

hosting: www.dc-hosting.com - have been using them for 5 years, no problems, very quick to respond if help needed. Recommended.

i've used them.. bought www.the405lines.co.uk among others & not had any probs.
Not used them for hosting though
