15” wheel non sport wheel as spare

hi does anyone know if a standard Clio 15” (non sport) alloy wheel can be used as a spare on a 172? I.e can it fit over the front calipers?

A 15 will fit over the front calipers, but a 14 most certainly wont (from experience having to take a rear off to put on the front then put the spare on the rear)

Yup as above. Ran non sport 15s plenty times. They're just a bit narrower.

Aha yeah, me neither. Mine came with a 14" in the boot, so I just assumed it fit, until I got a flat!

Yeah mine came with a 14” steely and I read the same that it will only fit on the back due to the brake sizes. The 15” non sport alloy as a spare will be ideal for me
