16'' Track Tyre Choice

Car  Clio 172 Ph2
Hi,

Bit of a newbie question
I've just bought a Ph2 172 and picked up a second set of wheels to put something more track orientated onto.

Both sets of wheels are standard 16's, the car currently has 195/45/16's, is it ok to run 205/45/16's as well ?

Also, what options are out there for track tyres in 16's ?

Cheers
Paul

You can get A048's cheap in 195 50 16 mate there really common so pop up 2nd hand alot on ebay, 595 RSR's are cheap too, i think most people will advise 15" wheels though

I was going to stay 16's. Decided to get a spare set of wheels/tyres in 15's for track use. Cheaper and more about (tyre wise)

Cheers Guys,

Will 195/50/16 be ok clearance wise with no rubbing issues, on a stock setup ?
