16v badge syndrome....

what is it with every chavd up clio i see has 16v badges stuck on the sides, on the bonnet where the renault badge would be? is it the code of the chav?

chavs seem to think if your car is 16v its faster than any 8v car, for example, boy racer in heavily modded 1.2 16v clio, pulls up along side me and says,"what u bothering wid that sh*t man, it only 8v engine lyk" which i ignored, untill i pulled away, then i blew him a kiss

first up got to appreciate that user name i just had a chaved up 1.2 try it with my 182.....didnt even have to go above 70 for him to become a distant memory

lol, well he probably sort his cheapo backbox and ripspeed induction kit made his car faster than yours, that or he just wanted to see how quick your car was.

ive been there done that lol, in the younger year wiv the slower cars. most of the time i did that i knew i was guna get licked and just wanted 2 c how quick the beast i was next 2 was

can surprise a lot of peeps in me 1.6 now tho cos it luks just like a 1.2 (WAYHEY!)

ditto, though if you throw enough money at your 1.6 youll be beating 182s off the line!! The 1.6 16v is the same base engine as the super1600s and i just wish id known that and looked for a 16v!
