16v Rims on an RT

will 16v wheels with 185/55/15 tyres go onto my RT ok ?

i plan to lower 40mm max

I would have thought they would fit but the outer diameter of the tyre in that fitment is a lot bigger than the standard tyre. This might make the ride a bit less comfortable and the speedo will be out by a bit.

Im going for 195/45 15 tyres and these are still going to be slightly bigger than standard.

Brun, from looking at some of your recent threads it looks like your doing what Im gonna do in the next couple of months, i.e get it lowered and slap some 15s on. Id be grateful if you could get some pictures up when you get your suspension done so I can have a look.

I own a set of clio 16v 15" alloy wheels. I fear only when mounted on the car that it will touch the canvas of the wheel when the steer is all the way to one side.

Is it need to have the bodywork enhancements of the 16v/williams?
