17 inch on a valver

Ive just shod my valver with a set of 17" wheels wrapped in 205/40/17 and it looks awesome. Just wanted to check, is it normal for it to rub a little bit on full lock? (its not lowered)

I would have thought its a possibility, seeing as theyre a bit bigger than standard - ask GlennX, as his is on 17s and is also on the floor, so should have a good idea. If its only rubbing on full lock then I wouldnt worry too much as youll only be doing slow-speed manouvering anyway!

I have 17s on my phase 2 valver with the same spec rubber, no rubbing at all even at full lock and it also dont rub with my 15 stone cousin sittin in it either its not lowered and suspension is standerd..

I bought my wheels off Adam_16V and hes car was lowered and he didnt hav any probs with rubbing....

I dont think it should rubb, you sure you got any spacers fitted?

my front arches are slightly shopped, only plastic so dead easy, and not noticable!

its normal for them to rub a bit,

just depends on what offset the wheels are

only on full lock so dont worry about it

Mine rub on the front bumper. but mines a bit low and has 215 tyres on. only catches on drivers side really. back sometimes catches on hard bumps etc.
