Think depends is urs a 16v with the wider arches, with these 17s should fit easily!is it lowered?1.2. and 1.4s are gonna rub a little mate but take arche liners out and 'maybe' ok little arch mods neeeded tho, Ryan
i work for TMC and when i checked it says on standard springs with the correct offset and size all i need is a 10mm spacer, then any larger and i need arch work.
any pics?
I would strongly advise against it aswell. Mine scrubbed all the time!Every roundabout, speed hump etc! 16" is biggest i would go on a non valver. My old clio on 17s lowered 35mm at front and as low as was sensible at the back! I had no rear seats in, and only my subs and tool box in the back and i still did my head in!
Looks pretty good, but the drive you get and the handling etc is as poor as can be. Mine had 17's on when I bought it, got it lowered and it scrubbed constantly on lock at the front, sold them and got some 15's and had it lowered more and couldn't be happier with it now
ok, ill probably go for some 16"s then, any suggestions, i can get most alloys for trade price because of where i work so any alloys around £500 or so any suggestions?
what every1 else has said really, how low are you going? im on 15's and mine scraped like f**k on the back, i took the arch lining out and there was nothing left of it!! but it still caught the actual arch so i got the arches rolled. not a problem anymore. and i never had a problem with the front, not even on full lock. mine is 60mm front and 100mm back.
