Id put 16s on...thats what im going to go for on mine. Ive got 17s on my 1.4 and the ride is pretty harsh. It shouldnt rub, Ive dropped mine 40mm+ and it is fine!

i havent really noticed much ride difference with teh 17s on mine, but will agree with the tramlining a bit.

bit more skittish on ineven roads.

but they look nice so hey...

Depends on the ET of the wheel ,mines are ET40 on sportlines with no rubbing
