172/182 sidelights

Hey
I want rid of that orange look from my headlights.
Can anyone suggest a good set of bulbs that look good with the xenons.
So they look white all over.
I did a search but talk of LED's etc just confused me.
I just want someone who is using some bulbs they like to tell me about them.

Get yourself some silvervisions for the indicator bulbs front and back! Looks so much better.. A decent set can be had for £15 for 2 bulbs

^ no lol. they are very fiddly and you often come away with a severd hand lol

My worry is dropping the sidelight in the engine bay and losing it for evermore!!

there is just no space to work with in that engine bay

I did that with a socket off the socket wrench the once! I had to drive up and down the road accelerating and braking sharply until it fell out lol

fitted these a while back, one led of the four went within a couple of weeks, rest eventually followed.

decided to go for the PIAA 1W leds, incredible light emitting bulbs, well worth the money!!

The right hand side is the best side to start with, as you have more room. Its just a case of pulling it out and replacing the bulb. Try not to touch the bulb with your fingers though as the grease leaves hot spots on the bulb and these can blow.

The left hand side of the engine bay has a fair bit of my hand skin now though, tighter than a newborn down there!
