172 alternator change

anyone know how to change the alternator on a mk 1 172, is it hard?

its not a job for a first timer!

bumper off
slam panel off
aux belt off (nightmare without the right tool)
c**k about
lose some skin
swear
put it back together

lol, so what tools do i need then? i wanted to do it myself, would it be better to just pay somebody to do it???
