iirc to get to the rear speakers, the "grill" sort of thing that's over the top of them just unclips, i'm sure when I did mine I just pulled it off, but I took the rear bench out first as it goes down the side of it, so it's just easier to take it out.

basically all I want to do is change the speakers. is this possibly by pulling the grills of? it wont break them will it?

thanks again

Rear speaker is accessable from the rear grille part, it covers the cupholder and stuff and is pretty sturdy.

no won't break them, once you get inside it the speaker just unscrews with a torque screwdriver, the standard speakers have funny ends on them though, so you will either need to chop the wires or get an adapter for them.

If your planning on cutting them, here's a list of the speaker wire colours

Front LH Speaker

Beige: Positive
Pink: Negative

Front RH Speaker

Beige: Positive
Pink: Negative

Rear LH Speaker

Beige: Positive
Pink: Negative

Rear RH Speaker

Brown: Positive
Green: Negative

I got the adaptors for my fronts, and then had to crimp new ends on the rear as I couldn't get hold of the adaptor for the rears.
