i have just got me a 172 bumper from a breakers , and it has a few marks on it , i have got to get it painted at a body shop , can the bodyshop sort out these marks and match my colour exactly
cost about £90 from the main dealer at £25 per hour. The bodyshop told me that it doesnt need to be on the car at all but when spraying, they must spray an entire pannel and not small sections in order for the colour to match properly. if you leave it on then you get imperfections in the lacker where its been masked up.
You have to be aware that if it is a front bumper you will need the 172 wings aswell because it doesnt fit on the standard ones - not wide enough
