172 Cat - Prices? Place?

Found out last week that there a tiny hole (pin size) at the front of the Cat!

Just wondering how much i would be taking for a new one and where would be the best place to get one fitted? (Renault or Standard Garage?)

I have one in my garage off a 30K 2002 172. If you want it you can have it for free....but you'll need to collect. I'm just north of Leicester

I've been told it shold just weld because it's not a large hole.

But!!!! He told me that it could have started rotting from the inside therefore when it starts heating up it might open up even further!

I know it's too good to be true getting one offered for nothing and I am will ing to travel and pick it up but is it's knackered then there no point in travelling 200 mile round trip for a Cat thats in worse nick than the one I have already on.
