172 centre section diameter

Hi guys does anyone know the diameter of the standard centre section and rear, on a p2 172?

I think it's 2 1/4", but probably best to wait for a more definite answer.

I replaced my centre muffler with a 2 1/4 inch pipe. It was a good fit...

2 1/4" the uprated ones are typically 2.5"
