172 Cup alternator refurb parts.

Hey team..

Now that the car is stripped for a rebuild and the car has 122k miles, I have decided to refurb the alternator while it's out.

At a minimum, I am thinking the brushes need doing.

Is there a kit available to buy? Have people done the bearings too?

I'm sure these are the brushes for the 75A Valeo but just double check your part number

Ebay for brushes kit

Check your slip ring size and there should be a part number on the regulator itself too. The bearings are usually fine in them, not seen many that have buggered ones as they're a fairly decent size
