172 cup seats in a mk3 extreme 1.2

Hello, I’ve got some 172 cup seats off a friend of mine and I was wondering if the 172 seats would just fit straight into my mk3 or will I need different rails etc .has anyone done this or is they anything I need to do.

Why would you want to? 172 cup seats are terrible anyway, it wouldn't be much of an upgrade

I got them for nothing mate. It’s better then the seats I have now .i like them personally

I’d imagine they’d be too small to go into a Mk3

hello mate. I’m doing a similar conversion, have you had any luck? I think I need a bracket or a different sized rail to make it work.
