Is it possible to stick 195/50 R16s on instead of 195/45s to save a bit money ?

Plus the fact that 195/50 R16s are an uncommon size and cost more, so dont bother!

But theyre 15s mate, which are very common and cheap... he needs 16s

Someone I know got Goodyear eagle F1 (GSD3) for £50 each off his dad for his Cup. £200 for the whole car fitted aint bad is it? Surely somewhere like kwikfit would charge £100+ per corner.

Your speedo might be more accurate if you fit a tyre with a larger sidewall. They all under read by 3-5 mph as std.
