172 differential preload

Hi all,

I'm fitting a LSD. Undecided between the Mfactory or Quaife at the moment.

Can anyone advise me on what the diff preload setting should be?

Preload for bearings? Or preload for ramp angles? If it's the former, you set it up using shims. If it's the latter, you can't do it on those types of diff. They're a plate diff only job.

Kind of yeah, but the preload is set with a shim
