172 Electric Window Wiring///

Hello guys,
ive done a 172 interior transplant into my 1.2 and never got round to doing the door cards.

the problem being the electric window wires arent long enough to fit the new 172 buttons in the door card.

shall i just lengthen the all of the wires (6wires per button) with 12v wiring from an amp wiring kit with connection blocks? will that work :S

or what should i do?

it will work but it sounds like a bit of a bodge tbh, just go to an electrical store place, even somewhere like maplins where you can buy lengths of cable however long you want, get the right guage cable and youl be fine, id suggest doing it (or getting someone) to do it properly and soldering the connections, or crimps which are better than chocolate blocks.....
