172 Exhaust Manifold

  Clio 172
Hi peeps, i have recently purchased a ph2 172 FF in Iceburg Silver. I love it, but i don't think it loves me yet as i'm going thru the process of changing the coil pack, ht leads and plugs to sort out the lumpy misfire which started today!

Anyway the reason for this post... did the 172 come with a 4-2-1 Exhaust manifold? Because i was surprised to see one today whilst i was changing the coil pack.

I had a little go with my mates Trophy on the motorway and we were even stevens, mines had a Group N re map by JMS and a K&N panel filter, his is standard apart from ITG filter, decat + Yozza sport exhaust.

Cheers!

Sure it's a 4-2-1? The 182 manifold is noticeably bigger than a 172, and finishes past the dog bone mount, underneath the car.

I see...I will check later today. Got to remove the inlet manifold to change the plugs today, does anyone know any does and don'ts with this?

Has anyone ever heard of a K&N panel filter messing up an air flow meter due to the oil on the K&N?

Just make sure when you put it back on that its sealing correctly.. make sure the ht leads go in the little dent that was made for them and you'll be fine.
