i think this has been asked b4 but is it possible to get the standard gearknob off without damaging it ? thanks

A big pair of grips and a cloth around the gearknow should do the trick. Once you get it to turn slightly you should be able to pull it off by hand.

If its just the lettering/numbers thats worn and you only want to replace that, it just pops out the top. Don't think you can buy them from Renault seperately though
