172 headlight wash ball

lost a headlight washer ball renault wanted £80 coz its a bumper of job(£6 for part). Will the ball just push back on if i buy the whole stalk bit from renault or have you really got to take the bumper off? how hard is replacing the whole thing?

I don't think you can push the ball back in place mate, i had a missing washer a few months back and Renault fixed it [warranty job] i know that a few people on here have done it and it's not ment to be that hard to do.

I'd say that the washer balls are a pain in the arse they either leak or fall off, and when they are working they don't really do much anyway.

renault wont fix mine on warrenty i could argue with them but really i hate having to hand my car over to them its just hassle. I just want that soddin little ball thing back coz it spoils teh look of the car dont care if it works

I agree with you Mightyclio it does spoil the look of the front when ones missing.
