How do you get the coolant hoses off (inlet and outlet)?

push the wee clips in either side, wiggle and pull, bit of a fucker to do sometimes

Cant make anything out from that pic, normally its just a case of squeezing the two cunting clips together.

it front of the silver bit at "3 and 9" you'll feel 2 little buttons

Nah gaz you dont need them, the big ass clips on the ends are well tough,

You will need either jubilee clips or the original clips to connect the other end to the thermostat tho, i used jubilee as its much easier
