172 inlet manifold help please

Hello I have a clio 172, looking to get the inlet manifold ported and polished, is this okay to do? Thank you peeps

I think this is done regularly on the F4R engine and I've had it on mine. Folk call it "matched inlets". There's often upper and lower inlets which have been matched in the parts for sale section for around £100 if I remember correctly.
