Let's get the story straight, you had a "used" gearbox fitted.

Id say it was the diff and id say that the box needs to come out and be rebuilt.

ive literally just had a gearbox rebuilt last week tho

Take it back to whoever rebuilt it?

You really either have been very unlucky with this car or have a total lack of mechanical sympathy and have managed to destroy another gearbox.

So who rebuilt this one? Did they not offer warranty? What did they say when you called them?

Could just be the clutch plate needs bedding in a bit.

Year's ago I have a clutch and flywheel replaced on my wife's classic mini.

It did the same thing, so I just pulled away sort of riding the clutch a few times and it was fine after that.

I don't mean launch it at 7k btw

Id bring the revs up and pull away riding the clutch.

But tbh without seeing the car its a hard one to diagnose.
