172 lights and wipers

hello i have just bot myself a 172 mk2 today but no log book can u plz tell me how do i get my headlights and wipers to come on automaticaly

Wipers - Pull stalk down to first position.

Lights - Switch on ignition (not start the car) turn the lights on and off twice until you hear a beep. Your lights will then come on as if by magic when it gets dark!!

oh and could u plz tell me what is the main difference between xenons and normal
and do i have to keep them very clean with squirters

also on the subject of xenons how do I get the washers to work

washers work when the headlights are switched on and you pull to wash your windows , washes lights at the same time

In essence, Xenons give out a as close to white light as possible, aswell as being brighter than your normal yellow bulb

Xenon bulbs should also last about 5 years before needing replaced.
