172 MK2 without headlight washer jet

  Renault Laguna Coupe

Not in the UK, theyre a legal requirement. Other countries may not require them though. Cup versions dont have them as they dont have HID headlamps.

i am sorry tp bring this up again. I certainly know Cup version dont have them on the headlight. But the one I saw even dont have a plate, it is totally smooth and plain.

Basically my friend is planning to buy a Clio 172 MK2, but that one had no washer jet which is so strange. Even the earliest one test by media people do have the jets. Strange, just want to make sure if that might crashed before.

IMO (In My Opinion), what you need to do is, check whether the light units themselfs are Xenons or not. This will help you determine whether the car originally came with the washer jets or not. Hopefully someone can post a pic of what the different lights look like, as I dont have any.

But the thing is - I saw that Clio 172 last night and that is a Xexon headlight.

In Hong Kong, we only have 2 kinds of Clio - 172 and 1.4 petrol automatic 4 doors one. And we do have MK1 and MK2, but no 182 and Cup! Damn!

We only have one Renault service centre in Hong Kong. It is run by a company called "Jebsen". They are also the dealer of - Porsche. Renault and Porsche are using the same service centre.

Can only put it down to different rules in HK then, I gather there is no holes in the front bumper for the washer jets then?
