If it is where the cheapest place to get some from to do an oil change?

just get silkolene Pro S 10 40 from Opieoils.... we get discount

I think its overkill would rather stick to the renault stuff especially as i change oil every 6 months.

Nope its fine 10-40 is fine for Renault sports so long as outside temp doens't drop below -20 degrees. The 5-40 protects down to -25 degrees.
