172 phs1 noise

Hi guys can any one confirm this noise is it dephaser? Any help would b great thanks

Thanks mar172 i Thought so, ichose the right time to get off tools (last week) so now dnt have the convenience of a ramp. Does any 1 now a good garage in the harlow area that would do a cam belt n dephaser? And unfortunately im aware of the price involved. And since done this job twice on previous 172 really not I terestex in doi it myself lol

Did you manage to sort this out eventually? Mark Fish is in Harlow. He's a renault specialist, up on common side road.

Mark fish!!!!!!!! Can't recommend him enough might be in for a wait though as I tried getting a service done by him a couple if months ago and he was booked for several weeks.

Yeah sorted in the end I spoke to mark and he was very helpfull but found engine dynamics had a deal on full cambelt kit inc dephaser aux belt water pump n coolant fitted all in £610 couldnt say no and they picked it up and delivered back considering its bout 1hour each way highly recommend them aswell
