172 rear axles

I've recently found out i need to replace the rear axle on my 172 cup and am on the lookout for one but would like to know if any other models rear axles will fit such as the standard 172 or 182/cup? Are they all they same size and width or would modifications need to take place?

they should all fit mate, cup or not just the non cups will have abs sensors on them but wont need connected on the cup. Ive pm'd you mate I have an axle for you

IIRC the 182 beam has a slightly thicker ARB, and big deisels and 1.6 petrols have discs but an smaller ARB. Most others have drums.

Would the thicker anti roll bar meen a problem for fitting? I'm looking at a 182 axle so long as it's a straight swap
