172 Seat height - can it be moved?

Hello first of all as i am a new member as i bought a 172 a month ago so joined up on here!

Right well the passenger seat in my 172 just seems so high up when you sit on it.
There is a cd changer located under the seat so not sure if this is why it is high or if it makes any difference. The drivers seems fine.

Can the seat be lowered down an inch or so, has anyone had this before or thought the same?

IIRC the passenger seat height is fixed...the drivers one is adjustable.

Drivers seat still doesn't go low enough for my liking

Cos my phase 1 has it under the drivers seat, learn something everyday!

Couldnt you get a drivers seat out of a french car(lefty) and stick it in passenger side.

You could get a lhd drive subframe for that side and you could lower it the smae as teh driverside but probably too much cash!

I think clio seats are high because it is a poplaur womans car and they like the seat high and close. Well my mum does before i get slated for saying this.
